Popular Australian Public Company CSG Ltd. Selects Rootstock Cloud ERP

Creating single enterprise technology platform solution for entire business based on salesforce1

SAN FRANCISCO, CA – March 3, 2014 – Rootstock Software®, the leader in cloud manufacturing, distribution and supply chain applications, announced that CSG Ltd, headquartered in Brisbane, QLD, Australia, has selected Rootstock software as a key part of CSG’s IT Transformation initiative. CSG is creating a single enterprise technology platform solution for the entire business, based on salesforce1. This new platform will manage CSG sales, field service, and supply chain, along with feeds to existing financial systems. CSG’s total IT Transformation initiative will empower the company to provide instantaneous information to hundreds of staff at any level of the organization, from an executive analyzing/monitoring key sales/service metrics to a customer service manager communicating real time with a customer on a service case. Field service technicians will perform scheduled jobs and mobile transactions from dispatch in the field combined with materials and services provided at the customer’s site.

“This is yet another example of Cloud ERP moving up market and supporting the ERP initiatives of larger corporations,” emphasizes Patrick Garrehy, CEO and founder of Rootstock. “When fully implemented, there will be hundreds of users working with the Rootstock software. Being 100 percent native on Salesforce provides great opportunities to companies such as CSG to embrace a fully functional Cloud ERP that embodies the power and depth of larger on-premise ERPs with the flexibilities that only the Cloud can provide.”

Salesforce1’s Sales and Service Cloud world class applications will be the base of CSG’s customer sales opportunity and customer service case interaction. Field Service, Subscription/Leasing Billing and Commissions are part of the initial phase of the overall IT Transformation initiative, provided by the group of selected Salesforce1 platform applications.

Sales opportunities and Service cases will automatically become Rootstock demand orders for customer order fulfillment. Rootstock planning, inventory and warehouse management will plan and optimize movements of supply chain materials to satisfy replenishment signals from regional branches and field technicians. Rootstock will manage supplier purchase orders for customer and service level demand requirements. Rootstock’s 100 percent native Salesforce1 application will also be a key element of CSG Ltd’s Configure-Price-Quote (CPQ) process, Product Catalogue management and Contract Entitlement compliance.
