What you need to succeed:

  • At least 5 years’ broad HR generalist experience
  • Strong program and project management skills – organized, detail oriented, execution focused
  • Extremely skilled communicator – both written and verbal
  • A track record with creatively recruiting and closing difficult to fill roles
  • Experience with Paylocity preferred
  • Preferred: Experience in a software or start-up environment

Location: San Ramon, California Department: Professional Services

As our Professional Services Manager, you will provide leadership within the Professional Services organization in the following areas (variable time allocation dependent on department priorities):

Customer-facing:

  • Project / Program Management of Professional Services implementations and implementation teams from planning through project conclusion, including budgeting, resourcing, scope, deliverable, and process management.
  • Sponsor oversight of implementations managed by other Professional Services resources as appropriate, including Rootstock implementation partners.

Continuous Process Improvement to support team growth

  • Development and continuous improvement of Professional Services delivery processes and tools, including driving implementation and adoption.
  • Recruitment, and development of new Professional Services department resources, including mentoring of these resources.

Operations

  • Process-focused assistance and leadership within Professional Services, including pre-sale engagement with new sales opportunities as appropriate.
  • May manage direct report relationships with other PS Consultants as appropriate.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional project/program implementation teams and ensure high quality services and deliverables within scope and budget
  • Build relationships with key project, management, and executive stakeholders at customers and partners, as well as within Rootstock.
  • Serve as an escalation point for customers during implementation
  • Provide on-site services to Rootstock customers as required . Travel could range from 20% to nearly full-time travel if on-going, on-site support is required.

Location: San Ramon, California Department: Professional Services

As our Technical Solutions Developer, you will be responsible for delivering custom solutions built on the salesforce platform to address customer specific requirements such as custom features and functionality, automation of business processes, or integration of external systems with the Rootstock ERP application.

As a member of our Professional Services team in our San Ramon Headquarters, you will leverage your knowledge and experience with the Salesforce platform, enterprise software project delivery and knowledge of the Rootstock product to deliver solutions which support critical business functions.

Your Responsibilities

  • Deliver high quality custom solutions to Rootstock customers and to the Rootstock project team.
  • Participate in solution design sessions to collaborate with Solution Architect on optimal solution by recommending alternative approaches and best practices and define technical impact.
  • Follow an agile software development methodology and contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle and support processes.
  • Execute on assigned deliverables utilizing Apex Triggers, Scheduled jobs and Visualforce pages. As build out the solution, provide feedback around findings and issues which need collaboration and possible modifications.
  • Develop Apex test class coverage for solutions
  • Integrate external systems with Rootstock ERP by utilizing provided APIs.
  • Execute metadata migration handling deployments between salesforce connected and unconnected orgs.

What you’ll do:

As our Salesforce Solution Architect, a critical member of our Professional Services team, you design high-quality Rootstock and Salesforce Platform solutions that achieve client business goals, by meeting or exceeding requirements. You will lead the definition, and realization of architecture and solution design as clients add Rootstock ERP and/or Rootstock Financials into their infrastructure—driving success by expertly leveraging the Salesforce Platform in technical solution architecture.

As a key contributor on Professional Services project teams, you will lead clients through requirements elicitation, then design, document, and present functional and technical solutions for Rootstock ERP and/or Rootstock Financials implementations in conjunction with necessary interfaces to and from other applications in complex client infrastructures, including deployment and activation strategies.

  • Use strong hands-on skills and expert knowledge of Salesforce Platform, Rootstock ERP and Rootstock Financials to design, validate, and document functional and technical solutions for Rootstock implementations, including solution deployment and activation.
  • Provide functional and technical solutions to large, strategic, highly complex system integration development projects in conjunction with Rootstock ERP and/or Financials implementations involving multiple platforms and applications.
  • Engage customer stakeholders to understand desired business outcomes and define success criteria
  • Lead Discovery and requirements refinement sessions to uncover client business, functional, and technical requirements

Rootstock has exciting career opportunities for experienced and engaging Implementation Specialists who are ready to join our growing Professional Services Team. You will be responsible for guiding customers through their implementation of the Rootstock ERP application.

You deliver your considerable knowledge and experience in Manufacturing, Distribution, and/or Accounting business processes, enterprise software project delivery, and Rootstock products to lead our customers to implementation success. You apply technical and operational expertise to take ownership of systems analysis and development of business and technical solutions for our Manufacturing and Distribution customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high quality implementation services and project deliverables to Rootstock customers and to the Rootstock project team.
  • Provide proactive application and implementation leadership to customers including mentoring, training, knowledge transfer, and active support of the customers’ project tasks.
  • Lead business requirements definition phase of the project. Identify and translate customer’s business needs and use cases.
  • Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of the customer’s business processes, through development of appropriate project artifacts.
