Rootstock Names Tom Ward as New Regional Vice President of Sales
“Tom’s 15 years of specializing in manufacturing/supply chain applications can help [customers] achieve complete collaboration through their supply chains.”
SAN FRANCISCO, CA – October 8, 2014 – Rootstock Software®, the leader in cloud manufacturing and supply chain applications, today announced that Tom Ward, who has made a career of helping companies understand and implement Cloud/SaaS solutions will now support U.S. organizations who need to upgrade to Rootstock’s Cloud-based manufacturing ERP system.
“Companies that implement a Cloud ERP solution are yielding significant and tangible cost reductions in both IT staff and hardware infrastructure in addition to the intangible benefits of cloud solutions, such as access anytime from anywhere from virtually any device,” explains Ward. “Because of such impressive benefits and cost-effective implementations, the interest in Cloud ERP is growing and installations are multiplying. However, too many companies are finding that simply being on the Cloud is only the first step in determining which manufacturing software is the right choice.
“Many Cloud ERP packages have fallen short because, in the rush to get to the Cloud, they are either severely limited in functionality or they are only replications of a predecessor legacy ERP package supporting one business type,” adds Ward. “Contrarily, Rootstock acknowledges that today’s manufacturers require a greater variety of manufacturing methods and services to be supported.”
“We believe that our customers will appreciate how Tom’s 15 years of specializing in manufacturing and supply chain applications can help them and their companies achieve complete collaboration through their supply chains,” avows Pat Garrehy, Rootstock CEO. “Tom understands that manufacturers need a Cloud ERP solution that provides the integrity and robust performance that traditional ERP provides while offering additional flexibility. They also require a solution that provides ready access to sales orders through warranty information to provide the best possible end to end experience for their own customers.”
Based in Atlanta, Tom holds an MBA from Georgia State University and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Auburn University. He can be reached at [email protected] or 404-915-5943.
